Masterbatch formulation based on dedicated raw material range SENSEACTION organoleptic pre-tested masterbatches are formulated to reduce negative organoleptic influences. 

During the conference, Christopher Engel, advanced research & development engineer at Avient, will be giving a presentation on exploring bio-based thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) in automotive applications. Made from renewable sources, materials like reSound™ BIO formulations help reduce carbon footprint and can perform like traditional TPEs. Experts from Avient will be on hand at booth #24 throughout the conference to help customers better understand novel sustainable performance materials, including specialized polymer colorants, functional additives, and engineered material formulations. 

We worked closely with this customer to understand the application’s needs and were able to formulate a solution that meets today’s increasingly rigorous food-contact safety requirements,” said Charles Page, director of global marketing, PolyOne GLS Thermoplastic Elastomers. The PolyOne specialty formulation helped the customer meet both Japan’s Fatty Food Migration test and China’s Guobiao (GB) Standards test.

We set an interim 2030 goal to attain 60% of our electricity from renewable sources. In 2023, we met this goal reaching 62% electricity being from renewable sources by leveraging virtual power purchase agreements among other sourcing initiatives.  We are dedicated to ensuring 100% of our products manufactured for packaging applications will be recyclable or reusable, reaching 91% in 2023.
