reSound™ 超低碳足迹 TPE
Formulated to achieve a negative, neutral or low product carbon footprint (PCF), this reSound™ thermoplastic elastomer series offers an industry-first cradle-to-gate PCF range between -0.46 and -0.02 in kg CO2 equivalent kg/ product. They perform like their traditional TPE counterparts while helping customers reach net zero commitments.
These reSound TPEs reduce the carbon impact of a product at the beginning of the product life cycle. The PCF value of the TPEs was calculated using the ISO 14067:2018 standard and may be used as an input to determine the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by a product over its entire life cycle.
reSound Ultra-Low Carbon Footprint TPEs are available in durometers of 60 and 80 Shore A. These naturally opaque grades provide an appealing aesthetic that is also easy to color, making them ideal for use in a host of consumer applications where a more sustainable material is preferred.
The eco-conscious polymers are available globally, with a PCF provided for each manufacturing location to more accurately support carbon neutrality efforts. The materials are customizable, but changes to color or formulation to achieve application-specific needs will require the product carbon footprint to be recalculated.
