Compliance to IEC 60695 part 2-11 for the end product and parts 2-12 and 2-13 for materials is required in Europe—and increasingly in other regions—for certain electrical and electronic applications. The most common tests specified by UL94 are the vertical burning (V-0; V-1; V-2) test and horizontal burning (HB) test. For V-0, V-1, V-2, 5VA and 5VB, the color concentrates have to be listed with reference to specific resin grades.
