The Impact

Created using ColorMatrix™ advanced liquid color dispersions, the new colorants  produce effects such as iridescent color movements and unique surface appearance that can enhance brand presence and deliver differentiated shelf impact across beverage, personal care and household product packaging applications.

PolyOne’s robust glass- and carbon fiber-filled formulations retain aesthetic appeal in metal replacement and structural applications, while also offering  higher stiffness, impact strength and surface finish than short-fiber filled materials.

THE CHALLENGE A manufacturer of high-speed, electronic connectors for the telecommunications industry had a customer that needed a connector for a new, low-cost computer it was developing.
