Nylon (PA), Polycarbonate (PC), Acrylonitrile-butadiene- styrene (ABS), and PC/ABS alloys Introduction A wide variety of thermoplastic materials are used to make molded products. The focus for this study was to develop thermoplastic elastomer compounds that would overmold onto substrates made from Nylon (PA), Polycarbonate (PC), Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), and PC/ABS alloys. As an example, for ABS as the rigid substrate, both OM1060 and OM1262 can be used for overmolding.
