Avient’s sustainability initiatives and progress toward its 2030 sustainability goals have been recognized by influential third-party organizations, including earning a Gold certification from EcoVadis, which recognizes a commitment to sustainability, ethics, and responsible business practices.

Examples include lighter-weight adventure gear for outdoor recreation, next-generation vehicles that go further using fewer energy resources, and recycled-content office furnishings that contribute towards LEED certification for buildings.  

Our site in Malmö, Sweden, received the ISCC PLUS certification for its bio-based concentrates and ready-to-use formulations manufactured following the mass balance chain-of-custody approach.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full-product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.

NSF certification programs are accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI/RAB), The Dutch Council for Accreditation (RvA) and the Standards Council of Canada (SCC). Typical applications requiring NSF certification are potable water applications, water treatment systems, restaurant services and plumbing. Underwriters Laboratories is an independent, not-for-profit product safety and testing certification organization based in the US.
